Veterinarian Director
Marlin Coast Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinarian Director to join our team. If you are looking for your next veterinary leadership position, with a varied case-load and an ensured work-life balance this could be the position for you!
Veterinarian Director responsibilities:
- Establish best practice processes for the clinic
- Assist with embedding of the clinic’s vision with the team to promote a positive work environment
- Work with Partners and practice manager to develop growth strategies
- Planning and implementation of training programs for Veterinarians including graduates
- Ensure financial targets are met, to sustain growth
- Dealing with case complaints, ensuring appropriate escalation and course of action
- Average of 38 hours per week, sharing of on-call and weekend duties. On average one night a week, and 1 in 4 weekends
About Your Skills and Experience:
- Current Veterinary registration and requisite qualifications
- Minimum of 5-8 years’ clinical experience
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead team
- A passionate mentor with a focus on developing and supporting the team
- Committed to providing gold standards of care to our clients and pets
- An excellent time manager with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiastic and passionate about high quality practice
- Client focused and dedicated to providing positive outcomes
- Accountable and adaptable with a proactive mindset
